Most people on Facebook don’t know that I’m an atheist. It leads to some interesting observations.

Sounds familiar! I am an atheist with a Facebook friends list full of fundamentalists most of whom do not know that I am an atheist. I grew up in a fundamentalist church, went to college with them, married one, etc. Almost everyone I have ever been remotely close to was or is a fundamentalist. Sometimes I get posts like this myself and am tempted to come out of the closet. I can’t quite see myself doing that though. I’ve told my closest friends, the ones I still spend time with. I suppose it might be a public service to let those less close to me know, to put in a plug for unbelief and reason. I know how much it would upset some people, though, and it just doesn’t sound like much fun.
Hey brother, good work on this blog! Keep it up, we need as many enlightened, intelligent, articulate atheists in the field as possible.
“I been on”
“I seen animals”
I is be more smarter then athiests, them fools is dumb as dirt!
