(As posed by a friend of mine)
Argument: “How can something as tasty and delicious as bacon exist if God doesn’t exist?”
Rebuttal: “If Christianity is true, then the Judeo-Christian God exists. Judaism prohibits the eating of pig. A loving God would not create something as tasty and delicious as bacon and then prohibit eating it. Therefore, the Judeo-Christian God does not exist.”
Corollary: Islamic law prohibits the eating of bacon, therefore, the God of Islam does not exist.
From salads to soup, there are very few foods indeed which are not made better by the addition of bacon!
But we selectively bred ancient lines of pig to be what they are today, so in a way, we are the “creator” referred to in the argument.

Well, a LOVING God might not. A cruel, sadistic, and malicious God, on the other hand …
Can I get that BLT to go, please?
But now bacon will kill us by destroying our arteries. So we have something incredibly tasty that we aren’t supposed to eat, and it’s everywhere!
Sounds like the Christians gods warped sense of humor to me.
Also: Some people do not like bacon, the argument assumes all people find bacon tasy.
