The SkepTick gave a talk a few weeks ago, and, just for fun, he copied down some predictions for 2008 that PsychicNikki had put on her website. One section was titled “Death Watch/Health Watch” – with names of people who might have a higher chance of dying that year. A few days later (January 22), Heath Ledger died. Returning to PsychicNikki’s website on the 23rd, he discovered Ledger’s name added to the “Death Watch/Health Watch” predictions for 2008. Even worse for her, the google cache of her website still showed Ledger’s name missing from the list.
Psychics: showing that they can predict the future by retroactively changing their predictions. And when her website claims that she’s “in the top 1%” of psychics, I wouldn’t be surprised if that were true.
Bhutto died in 2007, not 2008.
It took me a second to figure out what you were referring to, Vjatcheslav. But, yes, “Benazir Bhutto” is listed on the 2008 list even though she died Dec 27, 2007. I don’t know when Nikki wrote the list, or put it up on her website. Theoretically, it might’ve been written up in the middle of December 2007. Hard to say whether Nikki added Bhutto to the list after her death, or if it was just an educated guess — there have been a lot of assassination attempts against leaders in Pakistan. I can think of recent assassination attempts against three other Pakistani leaders off the top of my head, and I notice Nikki has “President Masharaff” [sic] on the list as well. (Apparently, her psychic abilities don’t extend to spelling people’s names correctly.)
Also notice her list seems to consist of old people, who’s bound to die sometime soon, and of controvercial or political figures, who’d naturally have more enemies than most people, and a higher risk of assasination. Impressive? I don’t think so. With a list like that you should get a winner sooner or later, phsycic powers or no.
Why can’t these psychics ever predict the death of some random joe who is in perfect health, has no power, and is innocent of any controvercy? And naturally, with DETAILS. Accurately predict that healthy, innocent random joe is going to die from a falling airplane engine on May 2, 2009, at 14:37 and I will be impressed.
Thanks for helping spread the word. I have a more recent post which shows she predicted that Tom Cruise and Penelope Cruz would get married and have a baby in 2004. Then she deleted that prediction soon after the word got out they had split.
BTW, love your blog!

Greetings from a SubGenius. For the past two years, my own wiki (The High Weirdness Project) has been keeping track of “psychic” predictions, in order to see how accurate they turn out to be. I’ve been keeping .PDF screenshots of the Web pages of the psychics in particular, though I haven’t placed these .PDF files online due to the possibility that it could cause copyright problems. As part of our ongoing project, I made .PDF screenshots of Nikki’s predictions page in December of 2006 and December of 2007.
On 12/22/06 (at 8:29 AM), Nikki’s prediction space for 2007 stated the following:
“Health Watch and Death: I foresee (sic) assassination attempts on Tony Blair, Condoleeza Rice, and President Bush. Those who face health issues and death are: Bill Clinton, Tammy Faye Baker, Hilary Rodham Clinton, Laura Bush, Barbara Bush, George Bush Senior, Vice President Cheney, David Letterman, Loretta Lynn, Larry King, Kirk Douglas, Nancy Reagan, Gerald Ford, Fidel Castro, Zsa Zsa Gabor, Luciano Pavarotti, Sadam Hussein (sp), Courtney Love, Loretta Lynn (again), Tony Blair, Aretha Franklin, Bobby Brown, Vice President Dick Cheney (again), Michael Jackson, Billy Graham, Sophia Loren, Gerald Ford, David Blaine, Omar Sharif, Anna Nicole Smith, Keith Richard (sp), Panela Anderson Lee, Courtney Love (again), Dick Clark, Mohammed Ali (sp), Michael J. Fox, Nelson Mandela, Annette Funicello, Jerry Lewis, Doris Day, Farah Fawcett, Wayne Newton, Roger Smith, and Elizabeth Taylor.”
On 12/28/2007 (at 9:10 AM), Nikki’s prediction page for 2007 gave the exact same listing for “Health Watch and Death;” she had not added or removed any names from the list. However, here is the listing from her 2008 page, from that same screenshot on 12/28/07 at 9:10 AM:
“Death Watch and Health Watch: Annette Funicello, Hillary Clinton (sp), Doris Day, Willie Nelson, Pamela Lee Anderson, Loretta Lynn, Ted Kennedy, Unice Shriver, Fidel Castro, Hugo Chavez, Benazir Bhutto, President Masaraff (sp), Billy Graham, Jerry Lewis, Chareleton Heston (sp), Tony Curtis, Debbie Reynolds, Zsa Zsa Gabor, Nelson Mandela, Farah Fawcett, Nancy Reagan, Dick Cheney, Elizabety Taylor, Larry King, Suzanne Plesette, Mick Jagger, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Kirk Douglas, Hugh Hefner, Shirley Temple Black, Alex Trebek, and French President Sarkozy (sp).”
Note that this was one day after Benazir Bhutto’s assassination. As you stated, Heath Ledger is not on this list.

Hope this helps. Praise “Bob.”
I can read. Try me
If any, and I mean ANY, psychic was really legit, they wouldn’t be wasting their time running websites and performing personal consulations, they’d be working the lotteries and breaking all the Vegas casinos.
Charlatans. I don’t see the benefit of doing this other than a starvation for attention.
