"The choice between believing the research of modern man, the scientists, or the words of ancient man, the Bible, is a matter of empiricism and logic."

There. It's fixed.

For what it's worth, I've been told by people a number of times in my life that dinosaurs never existed and that the whole business is a hoax. When I was young (this would probably be late 1950s or early 1960s) I was visiting friends whose elderly grandparents were also visiting. My brother was very enthusiastic about dinosaurs and started talking about a discovery of dinosaur eggs in the Gobi desert (I think it was). One of the grandparents said flatly that dinosaurs had never existed and that scientists just made them up. I also recall hearing another character--this was much more recently--saying that dinosaur bones weren't real, that scientists just carved them out of the rocks. He said there was a place in Utah where you could actually watch them at work, inventing imaginary dinosaurs. I don't know if he was serious or not, but he sounded as if he believed it.
