I saw this via the Bad Astronomy Blog and laughed out loud. Another picture here. It’s *not* actually from a YEC coloring book, but young-earth-creationists do believe dinosaurs existed a few thousand years ago. Here’s some ACTUAL creationist materials:
Interesting Hovind Fact: For years, Kent Hovind supported searches for a mythical creature in the Congo (similar to the Loch Ness monster) because “he felt if he could prove that a living dinosaur species existed, it would overthrow evolution.”
Update: AnswersInGenesis (that famous young-earth-creationist group) has a picture of a dinosaur pulling a cart of logs for a person. Seemed not-too-different than the Jesus riding a dinosaur picture.
